Information for GPs & Health Professionals

New Tracks Psychology welcomes referrals from GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists and other health and community professionals.

We provide trauma-focused psychological treatment to adults across Australia, with particular experience supporting people living and working in rural and remote communities.

Services Include

  • Individual psychological therapy

  • Trauma and PTSD treatment

  • Resource therapy

  • EMDR

  • EMDR intensives

  • Preparation and integration support associated with authorised psychedelic-assisted therapy

Clients may be referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan where appropriate or may attend privately.

EMDR Intensive Referrals…

EMDR Intensives may provide another treatment option for clients who would benefit from focused trauma treatment delivered over longer sessions or a shorter period.

We also welcome referrals where the client has an existing treating therapist and is seeking EMDRtreatment for a particular issue.

With client consent, we value collaborative care and can communicate with the client's existing treating team.

Rural & Remote Referrals…

New Tracks Psychology has extensive experience working across rural and remote Australia, particularly within the Kimberley.

Telehealth enables clients to access trauma-focused psychological treatment without having to travel significant distances.

We recognise that rural and remote practice brings its own considerations, including confidentiality within small communities, limited referral options, workforce pressures and access to specialist services.
