About
At New Tracks Psychology, the aim is to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy that feels accessible, grounded, and genuinely human.
I am committed to supporting people affected by trauma, stress, burnout, difficult life experiences, and those wanting to integrate their psychedelic-assisted therapy experience, with a particular focus on the unique challenges faced by rural and remote communities. Therapy is tailored to the individual, where we work towards your goals.
Meet MC…
I’m a registered psychologist who is passionate about helping people find steadiness after difficult experiences. Working across rural and remote Australia has taught me the importance of flexibility, connection, and meeting people where they are – both literally and emotionally.
My work focuses on trauma recovery, EMDR, Resource Therapy, nervous system healing, and accessible telehealth services. I strongly believe that healing should feel human, safe, and accessible wherever you live.
I started New Tracks Psychology because of an elder in Kununurra who wanted me to continue working in the community after I had left.
Treatment Style…
I aim to create a therapy space that feels safe, real, and non-judgmental.
I value practical, accessible therapy that helps people better understand themselves, feel more connected to their bodies and emotions, and move beyond survival mode toward greater steadiness and wellbeing. I have a special interest in trauma therapy and EMDR Intensives.
I draw from EMDR, resource therapy, psychoeducation, and other evidence-based approaches, adapting therapy to each person rather than taking a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Experience & Qualifications…
I am currently an Accredited EMDR Therapist, Clinical Resource Therapist and registered AHPRA supervisor, working towards EMDR Consultancy and Resource Therapy Trainer for the end of 2026.
I am also trained and practice EMDR 2.0 and ai-EMDR. EMDR and Resource Therapy are the primary therapies used. I have also trained in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, CBT, ACT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and EFT tapping.
Small steps, create new tracks.
